It took me ages to actually get the style right and be happy with it but now FINALLY I’m finishing it up. Here is one of the illustrations for the book :

For the latest comic convention in Haarlem I moved some squids that kept hogging the shower to a new Aquarium.
Thanks Revert Ladies, for taking care of them! I wish it could have lasted for ever but alas, I have to wait in line again to wash my hair in the morning.

Sunday, March 11th, 2012Last night I found out that I’ve won the “Avatar ” contest for het Wereldmuseum Rotterdam (I was so f*cking excited that I could hardly sleep 
)
The piece I made was inspired by the the work that was used to create the Future Pass expo (and especially by the work of Yang Na ). As some of you may know I really dig this scene and I’ve rarely seen an expo that inspired me as much as this one. Even the information that was given in the expo to compare our vieuws on “Western” art and “Eastern” art was really eye opening for me and I finally understood why I really like and understand the Eastern art scene much muuch better than it’s counterpart. It was a real honour to win this, so thank you!!!
