OMG! Is it true? YES IT IS.
I would LOOOVE to print a decent comic so I started a Kickstarter to get it done. Of course you can already read them online but nothing feels better than a comic on paper in my opinion. Lovely for reading in the train without draining your batteries and on the toilet for a little “YOU” time.
Because let be honest, we ALL read on the toilet.
You can find the Kickstarter page here:
And you can see the “Lovely” movie that goes with is here:
Feel free to share, comment and whatnot.
And in the mean time you can read the fist 4 Luna comics here

2011 was my first year as a freelance concept artist. And I was lucky enough to work for Abstraction games on a pitch they did for a Iphone game.
The game was called Candy Kids ( at first Fat kids ) and you had to manoeuvre the Candy kid (inspired on Hansel and Gretel) trough the house of the witch to free his sister. Everything in the house was of course candy themed.
I had so much fun on this project ( add I got super hungry too -_-‘ ) Here are some of the levels I decorated (and some more!)
Logo mock up I did for the game. But let’s be honest; this game was waaaay to cute to be called Fat Kids. So we did not go with it. But man… I loved doing these letters.
The character had to be super simple. as you were supposed to be a little round thing that could bounce off walls (you had to rotate you phone for the kid to move, which was super neat!). So we gave it a cute face and just a tiny lock of hair. It was also the first time ever I was involved with any animations. It was quite cool to do.
All the levels were coated with candy and cakes. It was so much fun! I loved adding all the gradients and glossy finishes on the jelly walls and candy platforms.

Right before going to Korea last year me and Robin worked on a cute little puzzle game called “Magic Foundry” developed by Fundemic.
And now you’re able to play it online here
We had a lot of fun with the designs for the game, everything had to fit the theme of faux east European magic and symbolism.
So loads of wood patterns and mystical animals <3 (f*ck yeah OWLS and FOXES!)

New Luna comic online at lunathevampire.tumblr.com YAY! All about being a shop girl.
I was a shop girl not so long ago. I really miss the free pie we got almost every week …
Also I made a little comic about me and R riding the car we borrowed. I don’t think we’re ready for the real thing tough.

I’m working on some new characters for Luna. And I’ll be slowly posting them
~Here is Fico, Luna’s older brother. He’s a charmer. But Luna thinks he’s a pretentious grease ball.
He loves his hair, his leather jacked and 3 eyed girls.
Luna has her own little space in the world wide web by the by; http://www.lunathevampire.tumblr.com Follow, like as much to your heart’s content.

So I made a lot of characters for de City of Utrecht.
They needed them for a test to find out how people feel about using cars instead of going by bike or bus.
So when you do the test you get a character description of the type of “commuter” you are accompanied with one of my characters
In the end they promoted all over the city (my friend even found of the posters in a toilet..) so people would take the test. And they made loads of posters, stickers, flyers and even beer coasters.
The Awesome people of DDK (who I made the illustrations for) were cool enough to send me a package with some the printed promotion stuff. YAY!
If you know Dutch, check out test here
